What's in My Bag : Travel Edition

My flight is coming up soon, and that couldn't be more perfect time to do what's in my bag, travel edition blog post. I always love to watch people What's in my bag vide on youtube and read blog post so today I think I'll share mine but in different version.

As I'm taking a long-haul international flight which took me 10 hours from Bangkok to Stockholm, I need my laptop and iPad mini with me. Even though I don't think I'm gonna use it that much but it's good to have something to entertain you a bit.

I also have my head phone because I need to listen to music. This is the Marshall Mode which is the best investment for headphone for me! This is noise cancelling but not totally cut you out from outside world. I don't like headphone that you put on and hear nothing outside at all.

And of course, I have my passport and wallet. My card holder is from Mango, which is so handy as it has coin pocket on the other side. I also have my journey from Muji and a pen to write something down if I needed.

My sunglasses is the dupe for something which I don't know what exactly the brand is, it's from Cotton On. And I also carry a portable phone charger, which is so beautiful as it's in the wooden print and it charge my iPhone up to 5 times! The last thing is my makeup and skincare bag which have all of my beauty essential for travelling.

That's all in my handbag for travelling, I do have some other things like a spare outfit and undies in my carry on bag. I separate them because I have so much stuff to take with as it's very long direct flight and I'm going to stay there for quite long.

What's you essential for travelling?

A High-street Hauls

It would be impossible to go into any makeup store and get nothing especially it's high-street right? Today I have a lil bit of things I get from various place but I think I'd show you what I got and what I think of them.

First thing I got is the Maybelline Fit Me concealer. At first I quite hesitating about this concealer because I used to use the Maybelline Mineral concealer and it was awful and break me out so bad. But after couple days using it, I love it so much and this doesn't break me out. The consistency is quite runny but have a good amount of coverage and good for both spot and unheryour eye.

Next things is the Maybelline Colour Sensational Vivid Matte in Shade number 12. I bought it because on the advertise it looks so nude, however, the real colour is too vivid that it turn out like pink on my lips. Not so impress about this one.

Next thing is the Wet n' Wild Megalast Lipstick. I heard everyone raving about this lipstick for so long and I never bought it ever it's so cheap. I decided to get one as I heard that the colour Bear it All is the dupe for Mac Velvet Teddy that everyone also raves about. I's say that I really like the colour but not the formula and the smell. It has very strong chemical smell. And after couple day using it, I found that I might be allergic to this lipstick as it dried my lip out so much like no lipstick would do to my lips. This make me so sad because the colour is so beautiful.

Last thing I get is the Cover Girl Aqua Smooth BB Cream. I haven't heard about this BB cream before but I think I'd pick up something lighter than my Loreal True Match Foundation for everyday-wear. This is light coverage and I quite surprise that it feel as heavy as my boreal true match foundation but it's not matte. It gives you a dewy healthy looks which I like.

Is there anything you love from drugstore makeup?

What's in My Makeup Bag 2016

I remember that one of my very first post is what's in my makeup bag post back in 2014. And now it's 2016, things changed, so I think why not do this post again because I love to see what people carry around in their makeup bag.

I got this kiss-print makeup bag from Cotton on a while ago and I don't think it's available now, but it's just a simple small bag that fits everything I needed.

It's no wonder that half of the makeups I carry is lips products. I have my Dior Lip Gloss which I really love, it's really hydrating and don't feel sticky. I also have my all time favourite Boujois Lips Pencil that I use with Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in shade Dolce Vita. This gives a very beautiful pinky nude colour. And my favourite lip balm at the moment is the Fresh Sugar lip balm in shade honey.

I always carry my concealer in case I need to touch up my makeup which don't happen so often. I always love my Diorskin Star concealer, which is not good to love because it's so pricy but worth every pound! I also have some pencil liners which is MAC one and the Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil. I don't actually use them, but just in case I need it. And I also have my D.U.P lash glue in the day that I wear false lashes. This glue is holy grail!! It's from Japanese drugstore which quite hard to find but if you can get hand on, try it.

What is your favourite piece in your makeup bag?

Fresh Sugar Lip Balm

It's been a while that I write post about my favourite lip balm. I want to do that post again as I've found another favourite one. I still love my Bobbi Brown Lip Balm but sometime it's inconvenient to dip your finger in a pot of lip balm.

I heard about this Fresh Sugar Lip Balm for a while but I haven't have enough justification to buy it as it's so pricy and I still have many good one including the Bobbi Brown.

What's changed my mind is one day, Sephora open online shop in Thailand and you'll get free shipping plus double point when you order so I think why not try a fresh sugar lip balm when I'll get free shipping and birthday discount as well. So I decided to get one in shade Honey.

First thing I'd say is the packaging is so much better than average lip balm. It heavy and well-made. The only downside of this kind packaging is that it get scratched so easily and is would not look beautiful for a long time.

The consistency is very different from other lip balm. I'd say that it's very easy to melt in hot weather but it's super moisturising. The colour is so much more pigmented that other coloured lip balm I've tried.

Overall, I'd recommend this if you want to invest in a goods lip product. I'd say I love it but I can't carry it out that much in Thai weather because it will easily melted. I think this'd be very appropriate with a colder weather.

Do you interested in trying the Fresh Sugar lip balm?

4 Good Things

I think non-beauty post would be perfect for a long holiday that I haven't use any beauty product and stay home lazying around. Here are 4 good things that I've done this week.

no.01 : I get to write a blog post! Normally I don't have time at uni to write post to focusing on my blog but it's a holiday, I put all my university work aside and working mainly on my blog which I'm so happy about.

no.02 : I give my face a break from make as I don't have to go anywhere. My face has break out so bad lately so I give a break and pamper myself so it can recover better.

no.03 : I rearrange my room!! My makeup table used to have only small mirror from Ikea which I think works fine but now I have a huge mirror attached to my wall which is brilliant!!

no.04 : I can gat away from social. By this I mean I don't have to met anyone. It doesn't mean that I hate people or something like that but sometime you need a break. Last week I felt so tried talking to people around me, but not in the way that I hate them, so a lil break would be nice.

Here's all things for this week. Do you have any good thing happened?

Spring/Summer Fashion Wishlist

When the calendar turned to May, it means that summer fashion is around the corner. I always love when blogger start to write about their summer fashion or beauty because in Thailand, the summer is all year round. Today I have some which list of some summer collection from various brand that I want to share with you, I have some fashion wish list that I have my eye on for this season.

If you read my previous post, you'll know that I'm not a tote bag person. However, I found this Zara Pleated bag looks so simple and not too pricy to get hand on. I really want to try this style of bag that you can just throw on many stuff without worrying about breaking it. I think this bag might be good for my trip too.

Next is the Strip off-the-shoulder tops from Topshop. This shirt has never been my kinda style until this year as it's too hot to wear a normal shirt. I don't feel that confident to wear some top that show my arms. This might be perfect to cover my arms but still not too hot to wear in the summer.

Jumpsuit maybe another choice for comfortable outfits during summer. It's easy to wear and style as you just throw it on with some pieces of jewellery and it'll look good. I found this Zara denim jumpsuit so cute and look quite comfortable.

And it wouldn't be summer without a pairs of sandals. I found this New Look Sandals which look so cute and summery. I love a sandals that doesn't look too plain and can be styled with various kind of outfits.

Do you have any wish list for summer fashion?

Mini Size Beauty

For me, the mini-size Beauty is a genius idea to try on many beauty product you're not sure about. Today post I have my thought on the product I've tried as a mini-size and some I'm going to repurchase in full-size so I think why not share it with you today.

First thing is the Clinique Even Better SPF 45++++. I'm quite impressed about this sun screen for several reason. First it doesn't break me out, which I found most of the sunscreen that have SPF more than 40 then to cause me acne. And second, it doesn't feel heavy on skin and it has a sheer of tint. I definitely going to repurchase this one when I'm finished the mini-size because it's perfect for everyday use.

I also got the Vichy IdéAlia BB Creme, which slightly darker for my skin tone. I felt like this is a light to medium coverage. I felt average about this that I don't hate it but it's not the holy grails product that you must have.

Having heart about the Nars Velvet Matte Lip pencil for long, I finally got to try this. This is in the shade Dolce Vita, which is a very nice pink nude for your lips. It doesn't dry out my lip and it last pretty long. I'm impressed by how beautiful the colour is but I'm not a huge fan of Matte lip so I think I'd found something in similar colour but in the texture I like.

Next thing is the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer. I got very excited to try this wit the expectation that this will make my face smooth and make my makeup last longer. However, I forgot that makeup tend to last quite long on my face without primer, I don't know why, so I don't see different in that sense. For smoothing my skin, I see a lil bit different but it make my face feel heavy. I thought this primer is good for when you have special occasion but not for everyday. I used to use this on men face when I have to do their makeup, it cannot help smooth their skin lol.

The last thing is the Clinique Moisture Surge. This make amazing effect to my skin in the winter (which we only have about a week ). First of all, I like the thickness that make your skin so moisturise and smooth. However, even though I have very dry skin, I don't think you can you this in Thailand unless it's very dry and cold. And I'm not a fan with the alcoholic smell of this moisturiser. So for this one, I might repurchase it when I go to Sweden if my skin get so dry, but if I'm in Thailand, I'd prefer my Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturiser.

That's all I have tried with a lil bit of review.

Have you ever impressed by any mini-size product?

Crabtree and Evelyn

Hello Friend! I hope you have a very god week so far. Today I have the the post about the famous hand cream, The Crabtree &  Evelyn for you. My friend recommended this hand cream back when I was in UK and it was only 5£, but I didn't pick up and I don't know why.

Recently, even though it's summer which the weather is so damp and my skin shouldn't get dry, my hand always dry and sometime it's bleeding. It's a huge problem for me so I went to some beauty store to find a perfect hand cream for my hand. I found the Crabtree & Evelyn in Pomegranate and Tarocco Orange, which both of them I pick up because of its smell.

The packaging is beautiful and classic and I love that it's in the plastic tube because I found that when it come in a tube that made of some aluminium, when you store in your bag, it tend to get squeeze out and it's such a waste of the product.

First of all, I really impressed with the smell and the texture is not too thick. I found that it help moisturise my hand a lil bit but not that intense to make it soft and smooth. I usually use this in day time when I have to touch to working and at night, I'll use the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Handcream which is too thick to use on daily basic but it give a smooth and nice feeling to my hand.

Overall, I recommend this hand cream to those who doesn't need that much moisture and love a hand cream that smell good. However, if your hand is super dry, I think this might not help you that much in term of moisturising.

Have you ever try Creabtree & Evelyn Hand cream?

Fashion Staples : Bags

"Handbag speak louder than words"

Handbags are considered an essential for every women as it's the thing that can keep your look up or down. Today I have found many bags that I carry a lot and I considered them essential part of my fashion routine. So I thought it's good to share it in my blog!

First thing is a nice tote bag. I found myself carry this Paul Smith tote bag a lot as it fit a lot of thing and it has many lil pocket inside. I only found only one downside of this bag is that the colour is light. It's baby pink which is very pretty and beautiful but I found that it can get dirty so easily. I got this from York Designer outlet for an absolute bargain from 850£ for only 230£, and I think it worth the price as I use it so much.

Next is kinda night out or event bag that you can't fit that much stuff in. This is the Ted Baker Slim Bow clutch. I bought it a while ago and I love it so much that I want to use it every day but it doesn't fit much stuff so I only use it when I don't need all of my everyday essential. Or someday I just use it as a wallet. And I love that you can take the chain off and carry it as the clutch for a night out or some event like that.

For the next one you can't deny that it's the dupe for Chloe Drew Bag and I bought it for only 30£ from Topshop!! This is kind of my everyday bag when I'm not going to class to I don't need my laptop or text book. It amazingly fit my iPad mini which is the point I love about this bag. It actually fits a lot more than you think it will.

My last one is the one I use for class or travelling, this is the Fjallraven Kanken Classic Backpack. This fit my Laptop which is the Macbook Air 13" and all paper I needed as well as other stuff. It's so handy, and it's also water proof as well.

This is all the bag that I found myself use very often and It's the essential bag that everyone could use depend on your style preference.

Do you have any favourite style of bag?
