Something Different.

Lately I've been after some new style of shoe. I found one that I like but it's kind of love hate relationship which you not sure that it's gonna work for you or not. I walk into forever21 a while ago and spot one shoes but I don't think it worth the price and I don't sure whether I like them or not. Basically I don't like heavy shoes but this one is quite big and chunky. However, last weekend I went there again and saw it on sale, so I decided to pick them, and it turn out that I very like them. I bought a size bigger than normal because the material is a little bit hard and it probably hurt my feet. So far it haven't yet hurt but it's a lil slippy.

If you are interesting, you can buy it here!!

The Hand Cream Arsenal

Autumn is coming and the weather is getting dry so I think I'll talk about hand cream today and let you know what I think about all I've tried. I have a weird obsession with hand creams that I usually pick it up when see something I never try.

The first one and my favorite one is the Erb Eastern Treats Aromatic Hand Cream which smell like jasmine and rice. This make my hand so soft and don't greasy at all. The only con  of this one is the price but I think it worth spending on.

Sabai Arom Jasmine Hand Cream is also one of my favourites. It smells exactly like the Erb one but in cheaper price. I think the consistency is quite different and doesn't as good as the Erb one but it's a good budget alternative.

Since I love the Soap & Glory Body butter, I decide to try their hand cream as they have the buy 1 get 1 deal. The Soap & Glory HandFood come in their signature scent which I love. This smell remind me of when I was in UK. It's not greasy and don't make my hand dry.

The Nivea Q10 Plus Age Defying Hand Cream is the one I buy from the recommendation from many website. At first when I use it, I like it because it make my hand so soft, but after a while, I can notice that my hand get dry so easily than before so I stop using it and my hand is getting better. It might work for others but not for me because I have very dry hands.

Opposite to the Nivea Q10, I found the Loccitane Shea Butter Hand Cream too greasy but not heavy. The texture is very light but after you use it, it leaves a greasy texture on your hand and you can't use your phone after using this one.

I also try the Loccitane Shea Rose Heart Hand Cream and found it similar to the normal Shea butter one but smells better. I love the smell of it but it's too greasy for me.

Because the Shea Butter one is too greasy, I decide to give the Loccitane Lavender Hand Cream a go and I like it more that the shea butter one. It smell so relaxing but not that moiturise. It's not greasy at all. It's suitable for hot weather like Thailand.

If you are a good fan of delicious smell hand cream, the I love... Mango & Papaya Super Soft Hand Lotion is made for you. It smells so delicious and refreshing. I love the smell but not the huge fan of its texture. It's so light that it make my hand dry.

I found a very cute Etude Hand Cream in a cosmetic shop and I bought it because it has a cute packaging. it smells like kids and the texture is not rich nor greasy. It's the average and budget Hanf Cream.

From Japan side, I've tried the KOSE COSMEPORT Coen Rich Q10 White Deep Moisture Hand & Finger Cream. I think it's too heavy for hot weather. I don't feel any whitening effect on my hand. If you are a fan of rich Hand Cream, this might be your love.

The last one from Japan is the M's one rice Hand Cream. I can't find this brand in any website but I'd say that it's a good one. I think because it consists of rice so it make your hand soft. It smalls like when you cooked rice.

I think I covered all the hand cream I've tried.

Do you have any recommendation of some good hand cream for dry hand?

Style Style : Red Sneakers

Sometime, vivid colour can be scary when it on your outfits. I found red sneakers is very beautiful but I never pick it up because I don't know what to pair it with. Fortunately, last week I went shopping and spot a pair of red leather sneakers on sale for only 490 baht (10£), and it's real leather, what a bargain! This shoes is from Stradivarius which I can't find it on the website anymore.

I start to google some inspiration And found a girl that wear a boyfriends jeans with black sweater, so I take that inspiration and try it on. My top is from Ann Taylor Loft I got ages ago. It's just a black middle sleeves top. My jeans are from Lindex which again I got a while ago. I pair this outfits with my coach bag which I think from the last year or the year before.

Do you want to try some fun colour fashion item?

Weekend Shot no.2, Lovely Cafe

Another weekend passed and I can't believe that September is going to end soon. I feel like I just posted the August favourite couple days ago. This weekend I have class at uni which is unusual for me. After class, me and my friends decide to have coffee at the lil cafe near our campus called GreenCoat Cafe. It's a small but beautiful cafe.

Then we went to the indian food near Kaosan Road for lunch. It's a small but original indian food which I think it hard to find in around the Bangkok city centre. I used to hate indian food so much but after I try their Chicken Biyani, I changed my mind.

That's all my interesting things that I did on the weekend.

What've you been up to?

What's In My Bag : Uni Edition

I'm quite late on the back to school bandwagon but I think I'd do something back to school related a little bit today. As I love watching what's in other people bag, I decided to share with you my essential to carry to uni. My bag is from H&M that I got from last season so I don't think it will be available now.

My most important things are the card holder and my purses. Recently I have some problem with my back so I tend to carry as light stuff as I can so I don't use a huge wallet any more and switch to a card holder. My card holder is from accessorize and my purse is from Kate Spade I got from Bicester Village for only 20£.

I also have a makeup bag with powder, concealer, and etc. Sometime I just bring my concealer and lipstick with me and don't carry the whole makeup bag because it can be heavy.

An umbrella is also important for Thailand in this season because it rains sometimes but not as frequent as in UK. I just have a simple black one from H&M.

Another essentials for me is my glasses because I need to see what professor teach. I got mine from YSL a year ago.

Of course I need some pens and my notebook to write something down. However, in some class because I prefer taking note on my laptop as it's quicker (and some class is boring so you can read some blog or twitter :p)

My headphone is something I don't use that much but I always carry in case I need to listen to something or watching Youtube in the library. I don't carry a camera everyday but if I feel like blogging something, I would take this one or my canon one with me.

What is your essential for school?

Hot Weather Essential

I'm one of the eight million people that live in Bangkok and I hate the weather here. I hate hot and humid weather so I have to learn how to deal with it. For me, Thailand only have summer and rainy seasons even though the government claimed that it's actually "winter" here. I thought I'd love to share my essential to survive the super hot weather!

It's not only here but you need sunscreen everywhere. I used to use sunscreen from Biore that's so light and come in the gel consistency but it break me out so bad, so I change to SpectraBAN SPF30 for sensitive skin (can't find in the website) which work fine but I'm after some sunscreen that has SFP40 below, so plsss tell me if you have any recommendation for light sunscreen.

Despite the weather was hot and humid, I think to moisturise my face is game changing because I used to not put moisturiser on my face because I used to have very oily skin and I misunderstood that moisturiser will cause me more acne. I got a lot of acne because my face was so dehydrated and keep being oily. After I tried the Clinique Dramatically Different Moituriseing Lotion, I can feel the different so I decided to change to the Gel formula because it's lighter but still moisturise.

Hand sanitiser is also important because Bangkok transportation is not the cleanest so it's better to clean your hand before eating something.

Waterproof makeup is another key survival. For me, I tend to have oily eyelids so I always buy waterproof pen eyeliner and mascara. I love the Topshop Magic Liner as always, and the Maybelline Volum' Express Lift-Up Volume & Lift Mascara.

I think I cover everything I can't live without in this weather.

Let's me know if you have any tips!!

Today is just a normal uni day but I think I'd like to show you some shot of what I've been up to before go to class in the morning. Sometime if I go to uni early and have about an hours, I'd go to Starbucks near the uni and have some coffee and relax. As I love taking photo so I bring the camera with me today and take some shot to share with you.
